My wife is really upset with me. Doesn't everybody use the top of the clothes dryer as a work bench? She says normal people don't rebuild their front forks there. I told her I would use the top of the washer from now on. I don't think she has a sense of humor.

I use the top of our dryer for recharging my bike battery and as an extra bench when the workbench overflows.
After 20 years of this, my "better half" is used to it. She gave up bitching about it years ago  '

Will the bathtub work as a parts cleaner? And as far as getting a new wife, I don't think so. I've had this one for 35 years and I'm too old to break in a new one.

My buddy got an old surplus military Yugo SKS.
The stock was saturated with cosmooline so he took into the bathtub and gave it a "hot shower".
He is still married as of this writing......

Wifes are pointless, if it ain't one thing its another. Always losing money, never gaining any, then the divorce comes and you loose everything. Probably your bikes.

I keep all of my spray paint cans on top of the dryer; that way when it's running they all get shaken a bit.

Using the bath tub is a great idea. You can clean your carbs and armpits at the same time.

Yep I've got a Honda fork leg stripped down & "drip drying" in the bathroom right now. For engine work though I prefer the kitchen worktops (or the sink & draining board for dirty jobs like parts washing & paint stripping)

Wives are just trouble, rather spend my money on things I WANT than on shoes/make up/woman crap lol :D
