If I was to change out the sealed beam headlamp for an H4 type, would I need to do any wire mods or would it be a clean swap?
Do the H4 types run hotter than sealed beams?
Also, can I just go down to my local auto supply and pick one up?
    Thanks

No - easy swap, No, and Yes.

Stick close to the stock wattage for the bulb (55/60) and you'll be fine.

I just swapped mine out with a H4 lens and a Silverstar H4 bulb.

    Works a charm.
