Moving a bike from Wisconsin to LA

    Looking at buying an old bike in Wiconsin (not an XJ). To ge it to OZ i think i,d have to get it to LA. Any of you guys got any helpful info/costs on this exercise please?

    Try uship.com it is bidding process and you can decide what you want, when and can let it go as long as you want, all you get are quotes until you decide to assign the "contract".

    There's some shippers that specialize in bikes that are in the AMA magazines. I'll check tonight and share some info.

    It was an Indian with an Enfield motor. Rare over here. Decided not to buy it in the end...for the record no bites from USHIP which surprised me...

    In the future, feel free to shoot me a pm, my aunt and uncle that used to live here in Wisconsin (uncle is moms bother, aunt is originally from Australia) now live in Sydney (lived here in the states for a long time, now moved back to my aunts home country, to send the rest of their lives there, so they shipped a ton of stuff overseas, big things too obviously, so I bet they might know the best place to do such a service.

    Same here live in the central Wi area was just over to Oshkosh to get parts today. I get around and own my own shop drove tow truncheon in area know alot of guys with tractor trailers that run west n south.
