Wanted. 82 XJ550 Front caliper

    I know they have to be rebuilt, I just prefer to start with the best condition I can get. Working with no parts right now.

    Is this the 550 Maxim or Seca. It does make a difference. If it's the Seca I have a caliper you can have for the cost of shipping. Worked when I pulled it, but you'd definitely want to go over it. Comes with a nearly new set of pads.

    It's a maxim....I think. Came as a pile of parts and looks nothing like either anymore. :lol:

    Left side (drivers) single rotor.

    yeah, the Seca 550 is single rotor on the right side. Sorry I couldn't help

    If the (rubber) lines aren't within 4 years of mfg, they must be replaced. Rubber costs about 2/3 of the price of stainless steel lines from Chacal AND Chacal's are the ONLY lines anywhere you will find where the entire unit is DOT certified/tested. Everyone else uses certified parts to build a line which may or may not function acceptably as a whole, but Chacal's entire assembly is DOT certified.
