Anyone have a dual disc front end+wheel they'd like to sell me for a reasonable price?

Thanks, I'll let you know. I'm exploring the springer front end option.

Got a complete (brake cluster, master cylinder, lines, calipers etc...) front end off of an 80 XS750, $20 + shipping. Slider tubes are a little pitted but I polished the rust spots right off of the seal area. I can try and get you pics this weekend.

please do, I'm interested for sure. You have a wheel too? Actually, do I need one? I haven't looked at mine too closely, would another disc bolt up on the other side. I guess I could just walk to the garage and look...

My sliders are a bit pitted, but they cleaned up pretty smooth. How smooth do they have to be to seal? Mine leak badly, but I have new seals.

    Thanks,

Jim, if you can feel the pit with your finger nail, your seal can too. Only it won't be pretty.
Kevin, my Max has plastic plugs in the locations that the alternate side rotor would bolt on to. I'm fairly certain yours would be the same if it is the stock swoop mag rim.
The assembly does have the front rim and tire. Not the same as the Maxim's but looks like the earlier 550.
I also have the swoop rim off of a Virago with dual disk. Sand blasted, painted and waiting for rubber. You might scout around, I believe someone here had a spare Virago rim for free.

I looked at my wheel and it looks like theres a plastic cover over bolt holes on the right side for a disc to mount to, so I guess I wont be needing a wheel.
