questionable offerings

I've been seeing wannabe sellers who don't or won't list their locations in their profiles.

It seems to me that sometimes questions cause the seller to kinda just drop off. If I was trying to sell a bike, I'd follow up on all questions and maybe even bump the post to the top a time or two before dropping the sale.

Just wondering if these sales are for real or if any have been seen as probable scams.

Maybe I'm too leary of scamming these days.

 

Its a secret man. If the feds knew where our bikes were they could confiscate them.

 

Its because they are selling their Harleys for Xj's and they are ashamed and don't want you to know where they live..

 

You are probably right.

Maybe I'll sell my Harley (it's being lent out to a missionary friend who is in the states for the summer anyway) and find me a nice Seca to replace it.
