Is there any sport bike front end that would fit on an xj?

    I'm trying to see if any sport bike front end would fit on a 1981 xj650 maxim.

    Triple tree, forks, wheel.

    Anybody have success?

    How was the R1 conversion? Similar to the R6? Turn the shaft down and add a spacer?
