I still have to buff and clear coat the fenders and tank, make 2 baffles, a headlight mount, speedo mount, front brake line, mount the horns, shorten the kickstand and wire. I'm sure there are a few other things to do, but I'll get them. I know some of you think the things I've done will cause me instant death the minute I push the button, but it is what it is and I love it. I am open to constructive criticisms and ideas.

That is going to be the sexiest bike ever! Nice work man!

I hope to one day know how to do stuff like that!

Oh wait, that's the final product minus a few minor things? Be careful man.

I know. This site is geared to restoration BIG TIME. It honestly seems like the whole idea of the modification forum is to talk you out of doing it. If you'll notice, there's not so many pics of bobbers and choppers anymore, mainly just questions. People don't want to show what they're doin' 'cause they'll get blasted for sure. Anyway, not my site, not my problem. Thanks for the complement.

I don't know if kleraudio's last comment was meant to be funny or not but I know what you mean. It seems like I don't see nearly as many custom projects on here as I used to and most of the new ones that show up disappear pretty quickly. Some of them get scared off by the "safety police" or negativity. Just keep in mind that those who offer genuine safety advice may actually be concerned for your well-being even if the advice comes across as a little harsh. For every prick that posts a negative comment there's probably a dozen or more that dig your bike & just don't say anything.

Bike looks cool man, let's see some more pics! :D

Bike definitely looks cool, I had said that in an earlier post, I just thought there was going to be more done. The "be careful man" was not meant to be a dick comment, i genuinely meant be careful, that's all! I love this place thus far, everyone's been more than great!! :)

Look's good. The only thing I'd do different would be with the tank. Just doesn't look right sitting so high to me, but if your happy with it cruise on.

What is looking weird with the tank is having the horizontal bar showing under the tank! Not pretty!

I would get rid of this bar and find another way to stiffen this part of the frame.

Thanks everybody. kleraudio, I was agreeing with you. I've still got to do about half what I'd listed.
Orange-n-Black, I've got a pair of fat bob's, but I can't get them to fit over the coils with out looking 2 feet wide. The peanut was free. but it's "frisco'd".
quebecois59, Yeah seeing the bar and coils isn't what I wanted, but with a single backbone, the bar had to go there.

Yeah relocating the coils would be a must, but not hard to do.
Hard to beat free, ride it.

To O&B, or anybody. Do you have any ideas on where to move them? I thought about putting them somewhere around the horns, or above the carbs, but I don't know.

Near the horns, not the carbs.
