I bought a unit on Ebay, thanks for your help.

Apparently the battery meltdown while in storage in 2006 did not help the rear brake sensor assembly. The brake pedal goes up and down, but it won't cause the brake light to work and the brake idiot light is on in the Atari. I did clean up a lot of acid from the area, so I assume it is literally fried.

If anyone has a working one, let me know and we can trade cyber money for it.

Re: WANTED: REAR BRAKE SENSOR ASSEMBLY SECA 750 (or equiv.)

Your brake light is burnt out. There is no "sensor" it checks the bulb for continuity. The switch is a simple switch attached to the brake lever mechanism.

The brake light works when the front lever is pulled but not the rear lever

Re: WANTED: REAR BRAKE SENSOR ASSEMBLY SECA 750 (or equiv.)

I think I meant to ask about the switch not the sensor. On the centerstand, I can push the rear brake the whole way down and the brake lights do not light. THey do light with the front brake. With the past history of battery leak in the area, I assumed it was the switch assembly since it seems to be pulling hard on the switch.

new ones are only about $10 if I remember...............I've taken some apart to repair, but the time spent to do so, and then source the parts, but it costs more to do that than just buyiing new one.
