Cafe build

    so im cafe racing my 1980 xj650 and im having some trouble with a rear seat i tried making a seat pan with the bubble in the back because im placing my battery in that area. any premade seat pans you guys know about that would fit a gel battery??

    You may wanna try hitting your local scrap yards. sometimes I find completely sweet homemade/ fabricated parts on some of these bikes. Again I would have to see pics. In my chopped cafe I just left it under the seat but turned sideways and got a battery box off the scrapped gsxr 750 i bought. Yes I had to trim and bend where need be but holds any battery I want in it. Your level of aesthetics may differ. post pics for better tips,a lesson I am still learning.
