    Hey everyone,

So instead of beaking off about an issue of mine, I decided to make a game of it. An XJ Hide and Seek, if you will.

An internet high five and title of XJ Super Sleuth goes to the member that finds the problem first!

    And we have a winner!!

Yup, was on my way home from a 2200km road trip, and this RV following a semi at about 70km/h cut me off in the passing lane when I was doing 120. Went to apply some rear brake, but nothing happened. Thinking I missed the pedal, I quickly glanced down, said some expletives, downshifted, used some front brake, and moved into the painted island in the center just in case.

The moral of the story, have a plan B.

Meanwhile, parts have been ordered, now begins the sitting and waiting and checking my mailbox every 20 mins...

Yup, just fell off. The splines on the spindle are okay, so is the groove for the bolt that locks it all. Weird for sure.

Honestly not sure what seat, it was on the bike when I bought it. Hella comfortable though, but the PO did need to reposition the rear turn signals to make it fit.

They say you have never lived til you had to use a vice grip for something on your car, wonder if the same applies for a bike

Bad luck! You can pick up a lot when cleaning your bike. Run your hands over everything and you find this stuff

I rode home from work(30mi.) with a vise grip clutch once.

I can't imagine the brake pedal falling off. That's borderline freaky!

I actually considered the vice grip option as I had some in my bag, but they kept on falling off no matter now tight I made them. That and I only had 119km left to go, so I said f@kk it haha
