YAMAHA XJ 650/700/750 "RUBBER" CARB FLOAT BOWL GASKETS - ONLY US$32.00 for a set of 4

    - Should fit all XJ650 (except Turbo), XJ700 (non-X), and XJ750 with Hitachi carburetors.

Stop using paper gaskets near gasoline!
Do manufacturers put paper gasket at the Petcock-to-tank as seal --- NO!
Do manufacturers put paper gasket at the float sender-to-tank as seal --- NO!

    - PAPER gaskets, when aged and deteriorated, can lose small bits of fiber that block passages.

    - These Precision Custom Die-Cut "rubber" gaskets are THE perfect alternative.

    - Shipping note: Price include FREE SHIPPING to anywhere in the world. They will be shipped in a plain white envelope with letter rate to save you money; thus cannot be guaranteed on delivery. However, you may request "Registered Mail" by adding $8.50 for Canada, and $15.00 for all other locations.

I took a chance and threw dice on this. It took a good week for them to arrive, and arrive they did. They are exact fits, and the lines on the seals are clean cut. No problems with the what so ever. I haven't had the chance to put gas in the bowls, or run them for any period of time, but the seals are exactly as described. I'm happy.

The carbs are back on the bike and the seals do their job. I'm happy and have no complaints.

I am curious to see the long term affects of fuel on them, and the repeated removal for carb cleaning. I suspect they will soften and begin to swell and mis-shape, but it will be interesting to see how they perform.

eBay feedback tells us nothing about long-term durability.

That being said, whether or not they swell and exhibit the other issues mentioned above, as well as whether or not they're affected by long-term exposure to HEAT, will depend on the particular "rubber" they were made from.

Until someone has had a chance to run them for an extended period of time, the "jury is out."

I had these gaskets custom-made more than 2 years ago when I started to resurrect my SECA.

I have had one same set in my bike for these 2 years with countless on/off, heat/cold cycles.

I was the Guinea pig! Now I am very confident selling the rest that I have as there was a minimum order when I had them made.

    Just sharing a good thing.
