    I have a nice straight 1980, I think, frame, no title that could be had for very little. The shipping from Upstate NY might be prohibitive though. Let me know if you are interested or want pictures. Shipping would be from 13787.

    The frame that Eco has is for a 650 non-turbo seca. Not the same thing as a maxim.

    Like Dave said, the frame came from a 650 seca and I had it. It has been disposed so no more.

    I have a 1982 Maxim frame - undamaged - no.title, in Florida
    came from a Florida scrapper - off Ebay - most likely not stolen.
    I never checked.

    I'll have a good frame with good title in a week or so. I bought a parts bike to donate to my main bike, and fortune smiled with a clear title to the parts bike. Located in Washington DC. PM me if you want to get the ball rolling.
