I have not, but know of a number of people who have.

Thas thread is about a differently styled version of the same motorcycle; the only changes being he plastics and seating position.

One thing to be mindful of, particularly if you plan on taking any trips togther: Be ready to be ridiculed for needing to stop for gas all the time. That bike is very capable of going 200-240 miles on a tank, which is slightly more than an XJ can do.

I sat on one at a dealership in Ventura, CA. Seemed comfortable and well balanced. might be a good buy for your intended purpose. My thought was it would be a good choice for Mrs XJ vs one of the 600cc scooters. More of a "cool" factor too.

I like the look of the naked black model. I'd take one of those with the manny trans.

Funny thing is I opened vesparider's "TurboMax" build post just after this...

Look at the photo of the black CTX700N and then the pics here:

I think Honda at least is trying for the look that some riders want.

Might get one for the Mrs. Showed her a picture and she liked the naked one, can't seem to teach her how to drive a stick shift truck either.

I like the standard trans naked one. The bags fit it nice as well. The auto trans is a nice feature really but I would still rather shift it myself. I like my cages standard as well.
