I'm looking to buy some spiked handle grips for my 85 maxim. Can I have some suggestions on what will fit? I found some I like, I but I don't know if they will slip over the plastic throttle handle. Il post a pic soon.

    Dont do it..
Those are ugly, and very uncomfortable
Not to mention HOT in the summer, cold in the winter. and offer NO GRIP
    None
I saw lots of black guys put those on in Woodbridge
    I refused to install them.
    Save your hands
    Get some rubbers or Gels
    And not those stupid Kuryakins

I figured they wouldn't be comfortable. Thanks for that input. There are ones similar to those that have rubber grips for your fingers. I just need to know if they will slip over the bars and throttle correctly. I noticed these, and similar ones, had holes on the throttle grip, like they are made for a cable to go through.

What you need are a set of grips specified as being for "Metric Bikes" with 7/8" handlebars. Most popular designs come in a number of configurations and if so, they usually have one that meets those criteria.

Are those turn signals or running lights in the ends of the bars?

The wires are for turn signals, Theres barely any info on them, and I don't think they're dual filiment. Therefore, its pretty pointless to buy them cause I wanted them to replace the "shrek ears"

you should be able to use them, but you would loose your running lights I think.... you would need a wiring diagram to be sure

OK... I'll give you my honest opinion here (whether you want it or not)... they LOOK cool as s**t, but just aren't practical to ride. If you are building a trailer queen, or show bike - by all means, go for it... but for some serious riding, I think you will regret it.
