fs 1981 xs 400

    1981 xs400 with approx. 10k . needs cosmetics and will need tires. they have like new tread but dry cracked. I have new,,,,, carb boots,brake switch,spark plugs,fork gaitors,headlight ears,mini front turns signals, euro style xs650 taillight,,,,, have stock one also. . had running in the spring but have since started to go over it and lost interest in it. I have a pa r title in my name to go with it .i have set up with just the speedo but have the tach and bracket. .right now to get back on the road , install the carb boots and put air box back on,install brake switch... needs new battery ,gas cap,and should have tires but they hold air . probably a good weekend and back in shape.,,i have an old set of extended chopper forks I can throw in also. I am still tinkering here and there on it. majority of work would be cleaning it up,, chrome on front fender and rear shocks not great . I am looking toward a different project. may trade for vw bug or dune buggy project. maybe a small camper
