fluttering noise xj650

    Hi all, Long time...
    XJ has been running so well thanks to all of ye. But over the past few days I notice a sort of fluttering noise as I am slowing down. Seems to be coming from the front of the engine. Could be there all the time but perhaps I cant hear it.
    Any ideas.?

    Its cold and dark and I just went out with my led flashlight and a set of size 10 spanners. Discovered most of the exhaust studs had rattled loose. In fact some of them took several turns to tighten. Just back from a spin and the noise seems to be gone.
    Brr lost the use of my hands though. Should have taken gloves. Winter is nigh.
