Depends on the tire, Motosport is cheap.

What tires you looking to get?

It's not from 1969. The date code standard went into effect in 2000. The numbers on tires before then are meaningless unless you have the appropriate reference for that specific tire.

Realistically, there isn't a "bad" tire. If you're looking for a good value check out Kenda and Shinko.

COntenental is making some really good tires in classic sizes, and not charging ridiculous prices for them. Kenda has a new line out for classic bikes too.

I will third the recommendation for Shikos.

I got a set of TM-230s in the beginning of this season and after 7k miles of spirited riding - there's barely any wear noticeable. They do like high 30s in the terms of pressure (38F-40R psi as rec'd by factory tech).

Motorcycle-superstore is addicting. It could be hard to stop adding stuff to the shooping cart at times 8)

I got Shinko tires and have no complaints after one season.
