Have a weird one. Driving down the road today and all of a sudden my left hand turn signals activated. I thought maybe i hit them by accident and thought nothing of it. Drove a few miles and the right hand side activates. I press the button and they stop. It did this all the way home. It was pretty cold today. Around 38°F. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Where would I start troubleshooting?

No moisture that day. Was dry and sunny. I might take the bike out tomorrow. I will see if it happens again.

Slide switch seems ok. Returns to center. Tension is OK. Fired the bike up today. Did not ride but let it idle. Without touching the flasher switch the left turn signals came on. pushed in the switch, they shut off. A few minutes later it happened again same side. Could the flasher relay be going? Do I need to check the coil resistance? Any way to open it up and clean it? I have not loooked at the electrical schematic. Does the signal get turned on by switching to ground? Just thinking maybe I have a short somewhere in the flasher circuit. Won't get to mess with it until next weekend. Any other thoughts or theorys, please shoot them my way.

It works by the left or right flasher wire making contact with the common.
