    A lot of people use photo bucket...

    Not to steal the post but can I post a pic from a iPhone or iPad.

    I have them in photo bucket but then do not know how to put them into my post.

    Go to the pic in photobucket. Find the "get links" or look to the right of the pic and find the "IMG" link. Click on it, it should "copy" automatically.

    Then drop it into your post. It should have an "IMG" in square brackets on each end, the one at the end has a "/" in front of IMG.

    So what you see when you're typing up the posting is [​IMG] however with the new PB format there may be a and "/URL" before the "IMG's." ...igfitz52/PD13 Trip 2010/PD13_PSTRR2.jpg[/img]

    Go to the Album that has the image you want to post in your photobucket account. On the right side of the page in the far right column, in a box that has " Links to share this album" you'll see a link that says "Update Link Options" click that. One that page make sure the box for 'IMG code' is checked. Go back to the Album with the pics, under the pic you want to share there should be a "IMG" followed by some text in a grey box, double click in that box to highlight all the text, then with the cursor on the highlighted text right click, then choose "copy".
    Now go to the thread where you want to post the pic and past the text, it will look like this (my pic doesn't show because I changed the text by adding a space)

    [ IMG]http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii98/bnemo/82%20750%20Maxim/100_4332xxx_zpse6865e89.jpg[/IMG ]

    You can the "preview" your post to see if it work, insted of the text in your preview, you should see your pic like this...[​IMG]

    I link the pictures from the gallery on this site.

    I open the picture I want then right click and select "Copy Image Location". Then when posting the message click this [​IMG] icon. Past your image location into the pop up box.

    Should work to link images from any site or gallery (assuming the user doesn't have to be logged on to see the image).

    Since fitz and MB covered the codes already, I'll cover this -

    yeah, there's a photobucket app in the app store, makes it real easy to upload pictures taken on your iphone/ipad, and then copy the img codes in the app, then go to whatever post and paste the img code into your post.

    I post pics from my iphone all of the time.
