    But the XJR is de-tuned from the FJR - - not as potent as it looks, like the Honda 1100 "Retro" bike. Even the new Triumph triple "cruiser" version is "de-tuned" but makes max torque right off idle.

    i have a little trouble with the tester, he has a 600 bandit and got on a 1200 and never mentioned that the 1200 would chew his 600 up and spit it out.
    really any of them would but he didn't like the gas cap on the honda......
    i'd pick the honda, i have a yamaha and a suzuki, might as well have a honda next
