Is there such a thing? Can you still find new parts for an 82 Yamaha Maxim XJ1100? I have a front caliper that is dragging and I think it might be a bit warped.

So, I'm looking for some new or rebuilt brake calipers for my bike. Any ideas where to find them or where to start looking?

    Thanks all!

    Dave

Just rebuild the ones you have.
Chacal may have a kit for them.

I think your rotor/disc would be warped. Your piston is probably stuck all the way out and your pads are close to gone.

You won't find a "rebuilt" one anywhere. You will have to do that yourself. You might find a NOS caliper but be prepared to pay a premium, they are hard to find. If you find one the rubber parts will most likely need replacing. Better off rebuilding yours. If you can't there are many forum members who can.
Pads ,seals and fluid will run less than 100$

Plus the m/c if it hasn't been done yet. And the brakes lines... Why not?
