"even the tires are original" (like it's a selling point.)

"when I load this bike up in my trailer..."

Unfortunately; it's gonna take a LOT of work if anybody wants to actually ride it. Right now, it's just as much a "trailer queen" as any custom chopper. Remember the thing about "it doesn't matter how much you pay for the bike, it's going to need X and Y done before you can ride it?" Here's a prime example. Tires, brake lines, valve cover gasket/donuts, and if it has no fuel in the system virtually any rubber piece, seal or gasket in the fuel system because all of that stuff is dried up. All the "normal" stuff. Sitting is still sitting, whether it's pretty or not.

I honestly don't know if it's old enough or rare enough to be worth over 2X what it cost to begin with. (Nearly 3X, IIRC.) Might be why it has zero bids.

I wouldn't pay over $2,000 for it because you never know what could be wrong INTERNALLY. I paid $1,000 for my 82 XJ650 SECA and have put around $900 into it. I still need A LOT of work done, and this bike LOOKED super clean. Little did I know!

Very true, but I think a turbo xj could be pretty fun.
