    Well it appears that my new beater will run. I need a useable tank, headlight, and left control switches for a seca 550. Side covers would nice too. Cheap and ugly are best.

    I'll have a cheap and ugly tank off an '81 Seca 550 available in a week or two, once I've got the new tank ready to install.

    It has a couple of small dents in it, nothing major. Apparently, the bike sat in a garage for a few years and it looks like something fell on the tank. The paint is pretty bad too. It loks like something spilled on the tank and stained it. Good news is, it doesn't leak.

    I tried to reply to your email about my Seca tank, but for some reason my replies are hanging up in my Outbox annd not sending.

    I was thinking $15 plus shipping for the tank. It will have the fuel level sensor with it and possibly the petcock (depending on the condition of the petcock I pulled off the replacement tank).

    Just let me know if this sounds OK to you.
