The factory "chrome" pipes are double-walled to keep the pipes from blueing.

The "Mac" system (4-into-1) is still available new - for around $250
    It even retains your main-stand

Any modified, free-flowing system will require a re-jet

Building a custom exhaust system from Stainless would be awesome, and we NEED pix !! (or it didn't happen)

In fact - if your friend can bend and weld Stainless, he could sell 35 exhaust systems on this site, this year !!

I know a lot of people are against velocity stacks and open exhaust but what jet sizes should I go to for that? And how can I order them from the catalog on here

    (see above for an edit)

Chacal, on-site, has a variety of jet sizes. PM him when needed.

Most likely, you would go from a 110 Main size, to a 112 - 114 size.

These are not stainless BUT.... some 1-3/4" pipe and fittings from Summit Racing and you too can have some custom pipes. It takes time to fit and re-fit and re-fit and re-fit. I added some black header wrap /s.s. tie wraps and painted the tops and bottoms with "POR-20 Black Velvet" high heat paint. Lost the center stand in the process.
By the way... I color tuned and did not need to re-jet. See Chacal's write up in his Catalog about re-jetting.
