Yeah, saw that on my Facebook from BSMC this morning. It's fantastic. I wonder if the guy frequents this site, cause the article said he's a graphic designer like me, and most of what I know today came from this site.

i'am pretty sure that yamaha master cylinder pumps some air every once in a while.
and that big black clamp on the muffler is bolted to that new exotic material
    "hard air".
why does one put idiot lights on a bike like that?

are you permitted to ride a bike on highway without a front mudguard / fender?

I agree with Polock and I'd add that I personnally don't get the point with running a chain driven bike without a chain guard! I doN't understand his tire choice either...

the battery is in the tail section. I personally think it looks awesome! although I would ad a front fender. but I have no complaints about his work. for everyone that thinks they can do better, I will give you the same praise when you do.

Just my opinion but I am not a fan. Don't like the look at all. I will stick with my 100% original model. I would bet that my bike handles the road a lot nicer.

Agreed the tires are wrong, but they are trendy right now so whatcha gonna do up against fashion?
I have been searching for pictures of blacked out engines with just a little aluminum showing, this is close to what I was looking to do on mine. Maybe keep the fins on the head polished, too.
Overall, definite bike pron, I like it.

Really Polock? When I say handles the road better this includes comfort and I can tell you right now that my old ass wouldn't be able to handle that uncomfortable seat for more than 10 minutes much less the uncomfortable handle bars. No thank you! Now I'm not trying to put anyone down here at all... I'm just saying that it sure isn't for me.

It probably has the potential to be a sweet-handling bike; however the downright stupid choice of tires negated that.

As far as the seat goes, cafe seats like that look really cool but any seat that traps you in one position isn't going to be comfortable for long.

The bike is a mish-mash of trendiness; he didn't go one solid direction or another. Is it an "Adventure Bike" with those tires, or is is supposed to be a roadracer, what with the upside-down fork and monster front brake?

I also have to agree in regard to the fender; if you're gonna run dual-purpose tires, it only makes sense you'd want a mudguard.

But hey, it's cute. It'd be quite a handful on a twisty paved road though.

No front guard and the crap tyre choice mark it down as a poser rather than a rider, unless they've done a bit of work on the rear Marzocchi shocks they'll be rubbish as well

That's a "chip shop special" not a cafe racer
I like the look of the frame though

I don't know because I don't know what you are building but I stand by what I do know and that is comfort and mobility are the two most important things. Looks are crap if it doesn't stand by these two things...

Check out the Link. It's my first bike and I'm learning. I am sure after building and riding this I will want a more comfortable/functional ride.
