Does an '86 Maxim X have YICS? I can't see the plug....

    Just as the title states. I don't see any plug to get in there between my carb to intake boots and the cylinder head. Also, there are no YICS markings on the bike.

    I don't believe you have the YICS on this engine. If you did it would be in the area RcPriest circled.

    The water cooled, 20 valve, genesis, Maxim X engine is very different from the air cooled XJ engines.

    It definitely does not have a YICS passage.

    Yeah, I do not believe it has the YICS passage. I simply cannot find any port.
