    I bought another one! I always wanted a 550.
Time to start the usual drill.. check back brakes, new brake lines,
check the valves, do the carbs etc. etc.
At least I have a couple runners to ride in the mean time.
Garage space is getting tight! I need to stop looking at bikes!!

Nice, I still think the 550 Seca was one of the best looking bikes from that time.

I bought it on Ebay. Maybe not the smartest thing, but I loved the look of the bike and it was $801 so I took a chance. Sometimes passion overrides reason,LOL

I love that shed. I don't think my home owners association would go for that.
I have a 10X15 garage/shop a couple miles from my house. Keeps things out of my wife's view and no neighbors to complain when things get noisy.

The mufflers are different. What do you think they are from?

I have 7 bikes in my garage and am out out of space. It's killing me, I love the chase of aquiring a new bike. It's been two years since I bought a bike and I have the itch. I think I need a 550.

Looks like a glass pack or resonator with a pipe to take it all the way out. How does she sound?

The mufflers look like they came off a Royal Enfield Bullet.

Real 550 Seca mufflers are hard to find (not impossible, but difficult.)

    I like the paint.

Good quote; its what has held me back from getting rid of my 2 xj's and getting a 'cooler', updated bike that girls would turn their heads to (something like a newer Honda Shadow or Harley). Mind you I'm a single, 26 year old guy looking for a future female companion. 8)

Pssh, i just balanced my checkbook this morning too and there aren't many digits on the balance line. That's the other reason I'm not getting a newer bike for a while. My bikes are actually paid off and I can enjoy blipping the throttle at stoplights knowing my mode of transportation is solely for enjoyment!

I don't know how it sounds yet. I haven't gotten it home.
I will post a video when it arrives,

I think older bikes are much cooler, and any girl who is interested in me for a "newer" bike or a Harley is not for me anyhow. Stick to your guns a real women would admire your good values and taste

I had a Shadow Phantom I put new seats luggage rack and saddlebags on. They only make the Shadows in 750 now but the 1100 suuuucked.
I'm sad I sold my shadow but she was boooooring on the highway. Great for around town.nd sexiest bike I've ever owned
    I wouldn't recommend a shadow. Maybe a Sabre or a VTX1300
Or check out Hondas CB1100!!!!! That thing is awesome
    Eff a Harley
Expensive and rides rough. Unless you get like the wide glide or dyna series
