Has anyone ordered any OEM XJ electrical parts from yamaha? I ordered the starter/ kill switch and was suprised to see 10 or more in every warehouse. The number did supersceed a bit so I expected it to be tot difrent. I was surprised when I got it in to see that it was nearly identical to the factory one. The part that changed was the conector! They were even nice enough to include the new male end for the harness so it would match. I was just curios to see if anyone else had to do these connector replacments for more complex parts. No bigie for me because the switch is only 4 wires. I cant belive how much of these parts are still in stock, I know they cover a lot of models but I meen they are ALL so old!

What site are you ordering from where you can see warehouse inventory?

Sorry I can't add to your question, but I was curious.

Its a dealer program I use at work, They do not have big things like tanks fenders etc. Suprisingly all the oil seals oil filters air filter, maintence parts are still available. If you have a parts guy at your local yamaha dealer (thats not a complete dick) check it out! Some things are actually cheaper then after market! One question I had for any Wizard who might see this is, Yamaha still stocks the brake shoes will the oems delaminate like the factory ones
