new member

hello everybody i am new to this site and new to the xj bikes. ive had yamahas before but not a xj. this site is awesome with the amount of knowledge that is here. i am happy to be apart of something like this. well im looking forward to talking with everybody.

i got this bike for $1200 and it came with pretty much a whole other bike for parts. the only thing i do not have is the frame from the other bike. other than that i have whole motor and everything else. i think it was a pretty good deal. the other motor only has 11,000 miles on it too and looks great

yea im so glad i found a midnight maxim. i have deleted some of the gold but not all of it. i had gotten another bike with it for parts and i used the side covers and the metal bars underneath the seat and painted them flat black and it looks better in my opinion. i kept all the gold stuff though so i can put them back on to be factory right if i ever want to. i will post some recent pics sometime today if i get a chance so you can see what it looks like now.

 

this is some recent pics of my bike. changed the bars and some other thing. changed some of the gold stuff to matte black. i like it better. let me know what you guys think of the bike.
