Maxim 650 fenders on a 650 Seca

    Happy Easter!

    So, would it be possible to fit the chromed fenders from the Maxim on the Seca? I saw this German dude on YouTube who fitted chromed fenders and it looked fabulous. A little 70's.

    If possible I guess some modifications would be necessary to the sadle and "duck tail" as well, but it would improve the original quite boring rear fender.

    Do you know?

    In the front, a 550 Seca front fender is exactly the same part and they came in chrome in '81.

    (Not my bike, lifted off the web.) I'm considering this swap myself.

    In the rear it would probably affect the seat cowling but I don't know.

    Sure looks like it. He for sure used an XJ550R front fender; not sure what rear fender he used.
