1982 XJ650 Maxim Choke Cable

    Can anyone tell me a link or sketch a drawing for the Choke Cable for the Maxim.

    There was no cable on the bike when I got it and I can't find a picture of how to run it anywhere.

    Any help would be appreciated

    From the left side of the handlebar, the cable is fastened to the handlebar by 2 zip ties, it then feeds just under the speedometer and down the center bar of the bike under the fuel tank. The ferrule end is then attached to the choke cable hold down attached to the top of carb #4.

    It is best to do this with the fuel tank off.

    Thanks for the reply ... that clears it up, I am missing bracket to hold the ferrule. I will have to make one for it
