Got her last night. Great condition I think. There's a few things to get worked on, but nothing too bad.

Rear tire probably won't pass inspection.
    Carbs need to be cleaned
brake fluid cap has paint pretty much gone.
Tank has a scratch and the paint is showing it's age.
Fuse box needs to be replaced.

    That's about it!

    Not even 12,000 Miles ...

If you could roll-back the clock ... you'd still be under warranty.

Look to see if the Anti-Tamper Plugs are still in-place over the Pilot Mixture Screws.
Teenie, tiny manhole covers next to the "Chok (oops) ... Enrichment Valves"

    Fine looking bike.

    thanks everyone.

Got it running today to after draining the carbs and adding sea foam in. I have to run with the choke about 1/4 on and it hesitates a little at low rpm, but after it gets going, it's great. Lots of power... too much power.... no no, never too much power. ;-)

Mine was free too.. but it came with some needed ...'tweaking'

Funny thing, the fellow who didn't want it complained that when you start it up, it would immediately start spewing fluid all over the ground...

Isn't it 'funny' how a small bit of knowledge can dispel what appears to be a hopeless situation?

It was only the classic PRIME petcock setting & gas leaking through to the crankcase..

    Great price though...
    :D
