1980 XJ650G Headlight/tach light/speedo light not working

Hello all.
I purchased a 1980 XJ650 last October and LOVE it. Just over 50k miles on it and still runs like a dream.
Anyways, after having it put up for the winter (just pulled it out a month ago) noticed that the headlight was not working. The fuse is good, reading a closed circuit (.1ohms) but I am getting no voltage to my headlight. I checked at the high beam switch but nothing there either. According to my diagram, there is a headlight relay somewhere and it appears to control everything that has failed. Sadly, I have no clue as to where this relay is located. Any help with locating/testing the relay would be greatly appreciated. It looks simple on the diagram: single pole single throw with a 12vdc coil.

It is under the fuel tank, under the backbone of the frame.

 

It should be a little metal unit, roughly a inch square, and SHOULD be in a rubber isolating mount but they often have dry rotted and leave the relay just flopping around.

Try rapping it lightly with a screwdriver handle ...... Sometimes they just get stuck.

Len has replacements.

Also, it's possible you had a mouse chew some wires?

The one that I thought was the headlight relay turned out to be some other relay....Guess the coloring in the diagram was right after all. Really appreciate the help hog and wink!
