Hey guys, I decided to remove the whole engine and clean all the grease off the engine and paint it. however i have removed almost all the bols and cables except i cannot remove the bolts from the final drive. I belive the removal motion is clockwise (pushing the wrench downwards) isn't it?
The bolt doesnt even turn slightest bit. I am i doing it the wrong way?
    Thanks.

final drive? that might be the universal joint that connects the engine to the drive shaft. if it is the bolts are very very tight. use a six point box end wrench. yes they are standard thread, counter clockwise to loosen.

Yes polock I meant the joint which connects to the drive shaft. Its a nightmare to loosen it up. Doesn't counter clockwise means pulling the wrench upwards hence turning the bolt on the left direction. So i was doing it the opposite way is it?

The old saying goes..."lefty, loosey....righty, tighty"
Yes, you were trying to tighten it.
I have had success in the past using a box end wrench and then tapping it in the right direction (counter clockwise) with a heavy rubber mallet. The shock of the blow can some times break it loose. If there is rust or corrosion visible you may want to soak them in Kroil or other penetrating fluid first. Oh, and when I said tap the wrench don't go nuts, just a light tap to start is all.

@Maxim-X Haha and i thought it would be the opposite way to prevent it from loosening up as the bike moves. Thanks Man. Appreciat the help!

It will help to put the bike in gear to keep the shaft from rotating, and loosen all the bolts before removing any of them completely.
