    ha! bunch of comedians here huh ;), this is my first polishing attempt. let me tell ya my fingers are raw from sanding. otherwise id probably start a little job with this site. gonna be a daunting task to do it all.

    Save your fingers and get a Dremel and some polishing buffs.

    Start by stripping the old clear coat off. "Aircraft" paint remover works quite well.

    thats what i was using on it was a dremmel with a brass tip but it really didnt seem like it wanted to take it off too easy so i went to sanding the clear coat off it. i have polishing bits for my dremmel that imma be trying on the engine covers which ill probably get to today. what do you guys think of the different polishing bars. i used white right off the bat but i have brown and blue as well
