    Hey all,

I have stumbled upon a guy selling a trunk for my Seca 750. Unfortunately they don't have the hardware and I am trying to source how much it would be to buy the hardware for it. Does anyone have some for sale or know where to find some?

    Thanks,
    Mike

Very hard to find the hardware. Even if you do, you will likely be disappointed with how flimsy it is. If you search my name you will find a thread of how I fabbed up a frame. It has plenty of pics so you can duplicate it pretty easy. Good luck.

There are quite a few parts you'll need......many of us are still looking for them, too.

There are a pair of heavy plates that the saddlebags mount on, then there are two heavy angle brackets that THEY connect to that bolt to the frame AND another piece that goes across between the two. It goes over the taillight and behind the seat. The trunk mounts on top of that assembly. Then, there is a relocating bracket for the turnsignals which brings them out far enough to see again. Personally, I think the hardware and mounts are pretty rugged......they DO have to carry several pounds of gear in each bag as well as support the weight of passenger that is leaning back against it all.

I've gotten a trunk, the two rails, and the turnsignal mount, but am still looking for the plates.

If you add the fairing, then there's a whole other collection of parts you need there........

Crap I didn't realize how rare they were. I already have a fairing with the mounts, although I am missing the lower pieces in the leg area. It just needs a lot of cleaning up to look nice, but it is functional.

Micro I can't seem to find a thread about that with you, is it posted to someone elses thread?

    Thanks,
    mike
