Hey guys, last week I was riding to work, and started sputtering. So I switched tap to reserve and still ran out of gas right away. So I found out that my "run" tube fell off. I had to fish it out once before when cleaning tank. Any tips to fix it to tap securely? TIA

My guess is that the plastic intake tubes have shrunk and become brittle with age. No glue will survive in the gas for very long. You can get gas resistant Teflon tape (it's yellow) and give the bottom of the tube a thin wrap and jam it in good. Might work.

Perhaps replace the tubes with a new single unit as illustrated in this post?
