If the Piston won't budge from the Hydraulic Pressure supplied by the Bike's Master Cylinder you:

Try pushing it out with a line hooked-up to a high-pressure grease gun ... or,

Bring the Caliper and the Banjo Bolt to an Automotive Brake Specialty Shop.

(Have a pretty girl bring it in and they'll "Stop-the-Music" and fight over who gets to do it.)

    Or, ... My favorite.

On the way to the Brake Shop ... stop-off at Duncan Donuts and get a few Medium Blacks with all the fixings on-the-side.
Hit the Brake Shop with the rack of Coffee's and stuff in one hand ... and your Brake Caliper in the other.

Tell the busiest, dirtiest, sweatiest guy, wrestling with the most thankless brake job that God sent you with Coffee for him and his pals. Black with all the fixings on-the-side. Just for you! By the way ... while you're enjoying the Coffee ... God also wants you to hook-up this little Caliper to His bike and get the Caliper Piston out! He sent me to see the right guy; right???

    Who's next; please?

Alternator Brushes ... Yes, we have them!

Doug I pushed mine out with air pressure, Although this works you need to be careful cuz that piston will shoot out of there at an amazing rate of speed.

I tied a rag around my caliper so the piston shot out into the rag!

    Hopes this helps ridz

I second the grease gun trick. Took mine out after 20 years of barn storage...

Ok..used Ricks grease gun trick..and got the piston out (thanks again Rick)
clean it all out, lots of gunk in there ..now do I need to replace the rubber ring inside the caliper?? I was tring to put piston back in and not going in to easy..using a C clamp seems like alot of pressure be applied to move it a little bit..so thought I should stop and get some advice before continuing..

It is advisable to replace the piston seal.
If it isn't going in easily, it is possible you've either cocked it into the bore or the piston has some protrusions. Pull it and make certain the piston is round and clean.
Additionally, I'm assuming you lubricated the bore and seal with fresh brake fluid to ease the reinsertion.

    Take-out the Rubber Seal.
Be a Dentist ... bend a paperclip and remove everything from the slot that isn't part of the Caliper.

Take a ScotchBrite Pad ... Cut-up some two-inch squares ... and go to work on the walls of the Cylinder.
When it's all nice and clean ... and sprayed-clean with some DiscBrakeKleen ...
Lube EVERYTHING with fresh, clean, Brake Fluid!
As long as you're using clean Brake Fluid ... you can't use too much.

Lube the O-ring seal(s) ... Big time. (Yea ... you should use a new one!)

Press the Piston back-in with the C-clamp.
You need to do it slowly ... with the bleed screw out
The START going back-in is "Placement Critical"
    Pay attention to the Geometry.
The Piston has got to go ... straight, down ... in.

Tilt, Pitch and Yaw will mess you up ...
Correct the Geometry and continue the C-clamp pressure.
