There is a bike salvage yard somewhere off Red Bluff road that had a couple of XJ750's with the coolers still attached. Not sure where in Houston you are, but that would at least be a starting point.

If you can't get the 750 specific oil cooler, you can fit the oil cooler from the Seca turbo. Aftermarket coolers show up on E-Bay from time to time (sometimes they are NOS). There are some other methods as well, but it takes some work gathering all the pieces and having lines made.

Kee-rap, they were going to sell me that complete engine with carbs for $250, they must have raised the price since two people asked about it in the last six months.

You need the cooler, the lines, and the adaptor (which attaches between the sump and the oil filter housing. $150 is too much in my opinion unless it has everything required to install it on the bike (including the special fitting for the adapter plate). I got the Turbo Seca cooler, along with all of the fittings and the adapter, for $50 shipped.

The XJ650 Turbo oil cooler will require the fabrication of a special mounting bracket to "lower" the cooler in relation to the frame. The original XJ650 (non-turbo) and XJ750 oil coolers are quite a bit shorter than the turbo cooler, and, thus the hose length will be off, too..........

Either that, or IIRC RickCoMatic fashioned a bracket to relocate the horns... which which are conveniently mounted where the cooler wants to sit. Now that I think about it, I believe he said he moved the horns to the rear of the bike.

I've got a Turbo cooler, but haven't bolted it on. There's something odd with my header pipes, because I can't put the adapter plate on and mount the existing oil filter setup. It'll have to wait until I a) get around to doing something with it, and b) figure out how to deal with mounting the cooler.
