My horn isnt working when activated. So far I have replaced the fusebox with a new unit from XJ4ever. Carbs are currently out of the bike being overhauled. New battery installed. Bike cranks and blinkers and tailight and brakelight work normally.

Is there a relay for the horn, or are the horns excited by the switch on the handlebars? If there is a relay, where is it located? I live in New Jersey, and honking at people is standard operating procedure.

Is there power going to the horn. You may need to buy a new horn. And I would check the switch in the handlebar, the connections may just need a good cleaning.

Make sure the connections to the horns are good and you should take the horn button apart and clean it with electrical contact cleaner.

There is no relay. The above suggestions are spot on. You can test the horns with a 9v battery and lengths of wire. The horns are inside the headlight bucket.
