    Sounds like Wisconsin. . . .
My XJ seems to like the cold air.

Maybe you're just living in the wrong part of the country for bikes ?!?

It sounds just like the usual weather here in Quebec, and my bikes have always been happy with that.

How clean are the enrichment circuits? Are there any air leaks?
I ride nearly year-round and can start my Seca fairly easily when it's in the low 30's

My personal best is 23F. It was kind of nippy that morning. The speedo cable made a little noise for a while.

    You must be blessed.

Mine will stat but didnt want to run well enough to go for a ride in the single digits. I have riden in the twenties before, the bike responds differently when its really cold. And takes a lot longer to warm up

Sounds like a carb clean with making sure the enrichment circuits are clear as well is in order....

it is more or less getting it to start, I have found the sweet spot I think
and once it starts it does take a bit longer to warm up
but still runs like a beast
