I figured out a way to make my Actron vacuum gauge work to sync my carbs. Sync'd them and they are PERFECTLY matched. The bike idles like it is brand new!

When I ride, I am fine until I want to hit the high RPM's. At about 6 grand it starts missing/sputtering from either #3 or #4. You can feel that the bike doesn't have the power that it did before syncing, and you can hear it through the pipe. It is a deep hollow sound.

What could this be? My mixture screws are at 2 3/4 turns out, factory settings are 2 1/2.

Could be vacume leak. Check to make sure you clamps are tight on the carb boots.
Could also be the Diaphragms ripped or not seated properly.
    Could be carb sync

I'm having somewhat of the same problem with my V45 and on the other board, that's what I was told to do.

    I'll be trying it tonight.
