    I made a 75 mi round trip to work today.... Somewhat cool, but with ATG and extra layers, I was comfy and enjoyed a nice ride. Dave

    Well, mine wasn't. Yesterday----- the sun came out and sky cleared, so I rode to work today, too..... Took the 900rk :)

    My last work commute was just before halloween. After the time change I avoid commuting in traffic, don't trust bumpercars in the dark.

    But Sunday I rode a nice 40 mile trip up into the foothills to top off the batt charge.

    I knew winter weather was coming. It's 19F today, and possibly -2 tonight.

    ColoradoDan,...time for your snow tires & chains for your motorcycle.......

    I sure do miss riding in Colorado.......bought my bike in Grand Jct. in '82......still have it.....Southwest portion of Colorado is some of the best riding in the country.....

    Thanks kboehringer, I went with yellow for something a bit different. There aren't a lot of yellow XJ's out there. The weather here has officially turned to crap so I think I'm done for the year. :(

    Pretty sure I'm done riding for this year. Tuesday, it was sunny and 69 degrees. Thursday, we had 12.6 inches of snow. Welcome to Erie.

    it's in the mid forties here and the wife just did a 60 mile round trip from seattle to Tacoma and back yesterday to trade in here lambretta for a 400cc Yamaha majesty. her commute is only 1.5 miles to work, so she will probably ride throughout the winter when it is dry and clear. she's looking at getting some heated pants. her new scooter even has an outlet for plugging a heated suit.
