if I have the shims you need, I will send them to you for free, just pay the shipping. no need to trade. that way you only pay shipping one way, but my collection is mostly thick. so what do you need?

I imagine that's getting to be a common problem as these bikes age.

Well, it not as much a "common problem" as it is a "normal issue". As the bikes run, the valves recede so the clearances get closer. That means the old shims come out and thinner ones go in.

The 'common problem', more often, is people that don't do the regular shim clearance check on a regular basis, and then there's those who have never done one. THAT'S where the problems are.............

Or.... You can be like me and do a full valve job + stem seals.... Then need to find thicker shims....

OK, I have the following that I can let go:

    4-295
    2-290

    What I need is:

    1-275
    2-270
    1-265

cyclenoob, I would like to get a hold of your 265, 270, and one of your 275's if that works... I'm PM'ing you my info.

If anyone else has another 270 that would be awesome.

You are all welcome to any of my 295's or 290's.
