This may have been stated before and it is so good that I'll risk the repeat.

I have a lot of tools but nothing I have would loosen the oil filter bolt on my XJ700N and I didn't want to grind it and take the chance of ruining the filter housing.

A friend let me use his #8 Craftsman stripped hex-head tool (not what Sears calls it) for a few minutes and I was able to break that stuborn oil filter bolt with stripped corners (thanks to P.O. )

It broke loose so easly!!!!!! I cant say it enough.

The more pressure I put on the tool the harder it grabbed hold!!

We ALL need this in our tool boxes!

I've got a full set of them - they are great. (Mine are motormaster for what it is worth IIRC - definately from crappy tire anyhow)

+1 that these are great tools - I've got a full set of the Sears damaged screw removers and the damaged bolt removers - fantastic. Much better than easy-outs.
