This web site got me motivated into doing some long neglected maintenance. I changed the 26 year old brake fluid but in the process butchered one of the phillips screws that hold the master cylinder cover on.
Does anyone have a decent screw off a parts bike that I can have? I'll pay shipping and make sure the sender gets a cold beer on me!

    Thanks,
    Rob

I got mine from Bike Bandit. A quick search says you'll pay a whopping 0.67 cents for one. For that price - why not get two!

If you have some other items to get (fork seals etc.), just pick them up at the same time.

If you go to boltdepot.com and look under metric socket flat head screws you should find what you need in stainless steel. Thats what I replaced mine with. Looks better too!

Mine were buggered on my XL and I had to use an impact tool to get them out. I just went to Ace Hardware and found the right ones, they aren't black but they look OK.
