so I decided to search for radian wheels on cl this morning and what do you know? I found a guy less than 10 miles away with 2 tubs full of parts a set of forks and a set of the wheels I am looking for, and they are already powder coated.

I am so thrilled! in the boxes were a full set of foot pegs in great condition. they are a direct bolt on to the 550! woot! I really like the look of the rear pegs and the direction they fold compared to the 550. foot pegs.jpg

Sweet deal. Is it ironic that we use something like the "world wide" web to locate something so close to home? Oh well, hurry up and sort those parts, so you can sell us ... er I mean TELL us what you're not using!

I got to go through the parts today and here is what I have to get rid of...

    radian parts.jpg

the rear inner fender I discovered is identical to the xj550 seca (much like many other parts, I will make a more concise list later) and it is super clean, so I will be keeping that.

yeah, I really like the look, but this mod is proving to be difficult if not just expensive. luckily I scored the forks which are in great condition, however I did not get the fender or the triple tree. the brakes I can rebuild, the triple tree I got on the bay of e for not a lot (the headstock is the same length as the xj550). I didn't like the rust staining from the handle bar dampers and luckily I have a 81 xj650 triple tree top that will work...

not sure why that first pic rotated.

finding a fender is proving difficult. they are more rare than hens teeth, but I have a lead on a possible after market source.
