Hey new to the forums! just bought a pretty nice 82 secs without any front brakes which i didn't think much of. Reading around on the forums it seems like they have special brakes which are connected to the front forks to prevent diving or so on..

trying to see what are my options for front brakes, is there any brake upgrades/mods (interchangeable brakes) or should i just start ordering oem caliper, lines, rotors, and MC?

currently have no idea what to do or what i got myself into

Go back to OEM if you want to be riding soon. Otherwise trying to piece together new rotors, calipers and adapters to fit to your fork legs is going to be a huge hassle. These bikes aren't in the same performance class as modern SuperSport bikes, so the original brakes work perfectly fine. For fancy bling, have the calipers powder coated.

Will only 82 xj750 seca rotors and calipers fit this bike or will the maxim fit as well? also anyway to do single rotor/caliper setup with aftermarket MC?

Stay with the grin rotors .... Better braking. You can swap the front from a 750 maxim.

That doesn't look comfortable at all.
