Is this possible on a 1980 xj650 maxim? Need new tires and the spitfire S11s are on sale at my local stealer, but no 100/90-19.

    Thanks in advance

It should fit, but you might have to pull the fender to fit the wheel back on, and reinstall the fender afterward.

    So I'm curious:

100/90-19 is one of the more common tire sizes and your dealer doesn't have that on sale? Is the sale just on tires that have already spent five years on his shelf?

I don't know about Canada, but in the States we can buy tires on line at prices that are usually below dealer best prices. I'd try to get fresh tires of the proper size.

This was my first thought as well, hoping to get over to check out the tires today in person.
